Introduction

A regulatory conflict often comes to play when a person experiences a strong motivation to act on goals but at the same time a conflicting inclination to withhold the action. This can be attributed to physical resources available or psychological potentials being low. This study illustrated that distance perception is biased in ways that theory suggests assist managing this conflict.
