Despite the availability of advanced modern day technologies for transferring documents worldwide, the fax machine, a technology developed way back in 1843, continues to persist in homes and offices even today. Considering the fact that this technology is more than a century old, it should have already joined the telegraphs and pagers in antique shops by now.
